Grilled Spiced Honey Chicken

I bookmarked this yummy recipe in May and have made it several times since.  Thank you Erika at My Road to Savings for posting this delicious twist on chicken.  Erika posted the recipe using chicken thighs to be baked in the oven, but we changed it up a bit using chicken breasts on the grill.  Grill = less mess in the kitchen ... less mess in the kitchen = happy mommy!
This dish is deliciously flavorful, spicy, and sweet - you won't be disappointed!
Best dishes and yummy dreams!

1/2 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes

1/2 Tbsp. garlic powder

Heat the grill to medium-low
1.  Mix all spices together in a dish (from salt to garlic powder).
2.  Spread the spice mixture on all sides of the chicken breasts.
3.  Mix the honey and vinegar in a separate small dish - set aside.
4.  Place the chicken breasts on the grill and allow them to cook 10-15 minutes before flipping.
5.  After flipping them the first time, brush/spoon on the honey and vinegar mixture onto the top.
6.  After 10 minutes, flip and add the honey mixture to the other side.
7.  Cover the with honey mixture several times towards the end of grilling.

What exactly are red pepper flakes? is there an alternative? I've never seen them here.... (northern ireland) :)

Crushed red pepper? It's dried hot peppers in a form that you can shake on a dish (like pepper). I'm sure any spicy spice would work ;)
