Tailgate Treats #1: Mini Deep Dish Pizzas

We've moved from "Slow Cooker Sundays" to what I lovingly refer to as "Fat Sundays".  Football season is in full swing, which means that Sunday nights now are dedicated to tailgate-type dishes ... and believe me, I have a list a mile long.  Tailgate-type treats aren't something we normally indulge in, but football season just isn't complete without some yummy, hearty, mildly-unhealthy dishes.
These adorable little pizzas are one of our favorite things to make.  I found them on Pinterest, but the picture never had a link.  So, to the person who thought of these - thank you!  Who knew football food could be so cute?!  ...and, you know I love anything mini - makes me feel like they aren't too unhealthy.
Best dishes and yummy dreams!

Mini Deep Dish Pizzas
Printable recipe

Makes 12 mini pizzas

1 roll of refrigerated pizza dough (I used a can of Pillsbury)
pizza sauce
shredded cheese
desired toppings/seasonings
nonstick spray

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
1.  Spray a muffin tin with nonstick spray.
2.  Cut the pizza dough into 12 squares.  Fit the squares into the muffin tins, pressing the dough to the bottom of the tin.
3.  Add sauce, cheese, toppings, and seasonings.
4.  Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until dough is cooked through and cheese has melted.

Enjoy!

Super cute, Kim!! And I totally agree...we've come to be "grazers" on Saturdays since, being on the West Coast, our schools play at strange times. Just means that Sunday and Monday have become SUPER light foods and meal-sized salads to make up for all the greasy (yummy!) football food!!! :-)
