When I went away to college, they had a little cafe in the gym that had a wrap on the menu made with bananas and peanut butter. It was pretty good, but too sweet for my liking (crazy, right?). I noticed that they had fresh strawberries, so I asked the girl if she could make the wrap with the strawberries instead of the bananas. My favorite breakfast treat was born, and nearly 10 years later I am still making it. It is the perfect breakfast because it has a good mix of everything to start your day: good fats (from nuts and peanut butter), carbs, and protein. Can't beat it!
The Best Breakfast Wrap
1 wheat (or any other variety) tortilla
peanut butter
fresh strawberries, sliced
granola (I use Bear Naked Protein Peak)
honey
Spread peanut butter on the tortilla, then sprinkle on some granola. Place the strawberry slices on top and drizzle with honey.
Enjoy!

Thanks for reading, loves xo
That does sound VERY good! And I love strawberries.
ReplyDeleteBananas are one of the sweetest fruits. I know they're high in potassium, but I think I'd rather get my potassium from a potato. ;-)
Agreed :)
